I have re-worked my old Canon A-1 motor drive shutter release. It use any old remote (TV, VCR, etc.) that you might have laying around the house. The 4013 is arranged as a one shot to give the camera a long enough pulse that will trip the shutter. In continuous shooting mode, as long as you press the IR remote, the camera will take photos. The bad news is, you'll have a hard time finding a GP1V52.
