This is an old infrared remote. It worked with the motor winder on my A1. Any pulsed infrared (say from a TV remote) will make a relay latch and trigger the shutter. Note that the cable does not yet match. I need to adapt it to a 3/32" connector. Since it works almost identically to the slave flash, this should work without a hitch.
