Quantum Hard Drive circuit board. All of the surface mounted ICs were removed with a 1200 watt heat gun. A sheet of 20 guage steel was used for heat sheild, to protect connectors and components I wanted to keep. Some shorting had to be troubleshot, but keeping the board in tact meant I could use the powers and grounds and save on the number of connections that need to be manually soldered.
